Sunset Sundays

It has come to my attention that I have a slight obsession with capturing sunsets. There is something about watching the sun fall - as if it is slowly drifting to sleep after it has had a long day. Each sunset that I have witnessed, has never been quite the same. I think of it as God's picture hand painted by he, himself.

It wasn't until recently that I heard of the song "Oceans (Where Feet May Fall" by Hillsong. If you've never heard of this, I encourage you to have a listen. Something about it is so empowering.  It is peaceful. It is soothing. It is beautiful.

You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep
My faith will stand

And I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine

Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You’ve never failed and You won’t start now

So I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine
